Dear friend.

Thank you for your interest in Central Baptist Church.

Our longing is for people everywhere to see and know something of the greatness of God, that He is worthy of exclusive worship and that God has mercifully provided the free gift of salvation for sinful people through the person and work of Jesus Christ.

To know the mind and will of God we give ourselves to understanding and teaching the Bible. Our intention is to apply the truth of God’s word in our everyday life in our relationship with God and with each other.

Calendar

1 Church, 2 Campuses, 3 Congregations

Central Baptist Church ministers from two campuses. The Arcadia campus is situated in the inner city, and The Hill is located in the east of Pretoria. Sunday morning services are held at both Campuses as well as an evening service at Arcadia. Children can attend Sunday School in the mornings. On Friday nights both campuses provide activities for teens and smaller children.

Church Ministries

Serving God in the local church, broader international community and the outside world, with all of the heart, soul and mind.

EE3

Evangelism Explosion is a training programme to equip believers to: share with anyone the gospel of Christ with confidence; train others to do so and bring new converts into local church for spiritual growth.

Children's Ministry

There is a special place for children in God's Kingdom and at Central. In addition to the children's talk in the services, Children can attend Sunday School after the morning services. On Friday evenings, Central offers a youth programme catering for various age groups.

Music & Audiovisual

The music ministry at Central strives to worship God in song. If you have a talent for music, consider serving in the worship team. In addition to musicians, other ways to serve include, mixing, videography, online streaming, photography and technical

Mercy

Central endeavours to be true to the Scriptures by considering those in need. Ways to get involved include, food parcels, hospital ministry, prison visits and care and compassion for the orphans and widows.

Internship

At Central we are offering an opportunity for young people who have the desire to give a year of their lives to the Lord for ministry and growing in their understanding of the Word and exploring their suitability for ministry opportunity.

Students

Central looks to provide students with a place to find organic community founded in the truth of God’s Word, training on the spiritual disciplines and an environment to grow in the love for God which moves believers to love & serve others.

Missions

At Central we are obedient to God's call to spread the Gospel to all the Nations. Our mission ministry has placed several missionaries globally and we continue to support them through prayer and resources.
